Replacing Laminated Transformers
with Talema Toroidal Transformers
To make it even easier to take
advantage of the benefits of Toroidal transformers, Nuvotem Talema
have developed several ranges of brackets for mounting toroidal
transformers into the space previously occupied by a conventional
laminated transformer.
There are several options to choose
from: LP ..

Type LP
Horizontal Mounting, with flying leads
Transformer is potted onto a flat metal bracket, which provides
four mounting holes
Type LFB
Horizontal Mounting, with terminal blocks (outside)
Transformer is potted onto an L-shaped metal bracket, which
provides four mounting holes and provides touchproof terminals for
connections to windings
Terminals are positioned Outside the footprint of the bracket, and
do not add to the component height
Type LHB
Horizontal Mounting, with terminal blocks (Inside)
Transformer is potted onto an L-shaped metal bracket, which
provides four mounting holes and provides touchproof terminals for
connections to windings
Terminals are positioned vertically above the transformer, Inside
the footprint of the bracket
Type SP
Vertical Mounting, with flying leads
Transformer is potted onto an L-shaped metal bracket, which
provides four mounting holes and positions the transformer
vertically. Flying leads are provided for electrical connections
Vertical Mounting, with terminal
blocks (outside)
Transformer is potted onto an L-shaped metal bracket, which
provides four mounting holes and postitions the transformer
vertically and provides touchproof terminals for connections to
windings
